Privacy Policy
This booking page is run by Vibeka Amador ("I", "me"). This policy explains what information the page collects, how it's used, and your choices.
What I collect
- Booking requests: your name, email or phone number, event date and time, event type, venue, budget, and any notes you add.
- Song requests: the song and artist, and, if you choose to add them, your name and a dedication.
- Basic technical data: the site's hosting and database providers automatically log standard information such as IP address and browser type to deliver the page and keep it secure.
- Analytics, only if you agree: if analytics is turned on and you click "Accept" on the cookie banner, Google Analytics sets cookies that show how visitors use the page. If you decline, they aren't set.
How I use it
To reply to your booking request, plan your event, play your song request, keep my own business records, and keep the page free of spam. I don't sell your information or use it for advertising.
Services that help run this page
- Netlify hosts the page.
- Supabase stores booking and song requests securely. Only I can read them after signing in.
- Formspree emails me a copy of each request so I see it quickly.
- Venmo handles deposits and tips. Payments happen in Venmo's app or website under Venmo's own privacy policy, and this page never sees your payment details.
- Google Analytics, only if you accept analytics cookies.
Cookies and browser storage
Visitors don't need any cookies to use this page. When I sign in to manage bookings, the page stores a sign-in token in my own browser so I stay signed in; this is necessary for that feature and isn't used for tracking. Optional analytics cookies are only set if you click "Accept", and you can change your choice any time with "Cookie settings" at the bottom of the page.
How long I keep it
I keep booking requests as long as I need them to plan the event and for my business and tax records. Song requests are cleared regularly after shows.
Your choices
You can ask me to show you, correct or delete your information. Send a message through vibekamusic.com or the contact you used for your booking, and mention it's a privacy request.
Children
This page isn't directed at children under 13, and I don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If this policy changes, I'll update the date at the top.
